Dean’s 70th year Anniversary Announcement

         On 16 May 2010, our  Faculty of  Dentistry,  Chulalongkorn University  will mark its  70th

anniversary,celebrating sevendecades of innovation and opportunity, including   achievement

in   preparing  undergraduate  and  graduate   students,  advancing   research  frontiers  and

engaging with community service for the benefit of our country.

         In  order  to  celebrate  and  commemorate this anniversary,  there will be activities and

events   throughout  2010.  On May  13-15,  we will have  a three-day celebration of scientific

lectures  starting  with the  education  area  "Dean Forum"  on the topic  of "Future  Trend  of

Dental Education"  which deans from  all over the world will  participate  in  the seminar.  The

next   day  we  will  celebrate   with a series of lecture by the theme of "From Basic Science to

Clinical Practice". The lectures will be on both Diagnostic science and Clinical practice followed

by Basic science to support the clinical practice on the third day.

The series  of lectures  will give  a new cutting edge to basic  science to the clinical  practice.

We hope that this  meeting will  help promoting the oral health of global nations in terms  of

education in dental area and also from basic science to clinical practice.
