Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Prof. Mutlu Özcan, University of Zurich, for MoU Signing and Honorary Professorship

On February 11, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, had the honor of welcoming Prof. Mutlu Özcan, Director of the Center for Dental Medicine, University of Zurich, for her official visit. The visit included a signing ceremony for a collaboration agreement between the two institutions, a special lecture, and her appointment as an Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University.

The event began with the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, and the Center for Dental Medicine, University of Zurich. The agreement aims to strengthen academic and research collaboration. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, and Prof. Mutlu Özcan.

Following the signing ceremony, a special lecture titled “Challenging Natural with Artificial…; Research Talk and Discussion”, which interested faculty members, researchers, and students were invited to attend the session, was delivered by Prof. Mutlu Özcan at the Raruekkhun Room. After the lecture, representatives from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, gave the visitor a faculty tour, marking the completion of her visit.

The MoU signing ceremony and the appointment of Prof. Mutlu Özcan as an Honorary Professor represents a significant milestone in fostering future academic and research collaborations between the two institutions.
