Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Students Present Research at FDI World Dental Congress 2025 in China

Congratulations to the dental students of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, who presented their research at the FDI World Dental Congress 2025, held on 9–12 September 2025 in Shanghai, China.

Earlier, the team had won First Prize in the Undergraduate D.A.T. – Oral Science Research Competition from The Dental Association of Thailand (6 June 2024), and this research has already been granted a patent.

Research Project:
“Effects of Mechanical Force on LPS-induced Gingival Inflammation in vitro”
The study investigated the effects of mechanical force on periodontal and gingival cells under inflammatory conditions, and found that such forces can promote bone formation.
