FDCU Welcomes Exchange Students from The University of Osaka for Clinical and Institutional Visits
From 1 to 5 September 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University welcomed three exchange students from the School & Graduate School of Dentistry, University of Osaka, Japan—two fourth-year students and one third-year student—who participated in an exchange program to observe clinical operations and visit various departments within the Faculty.
On the first day of the program, the International Affairs Division introduced the exchange students to different facilities within the Faculty of Dentistry to familiarize them with the campus and the amenities available during their stay.
During the program, the exchange students visited and observed activities at the following clinics and departments:
- Operative Dentistry Laboratory
- Prosthodontics Clinic
- Endodontics Clinic
- Radiology Clinic
- Occlusion Clinic
- Periodontics Clinic
- Operating Room
- Oral Diagnostic Clinic
At the conclusion of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rangsima Sakoolnamarka, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Corporate Communication, and Social Activities, met with the exchange students and presented them with certificates of participation as recognition of their participation in the program.
The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University has maintained a long-standing relationship with the School & Graduate School of Dentistry, University of Osaka, with reciprocal exchange programs organized annually. This was the second group of exchange students sent by the University of Osaka to the Faculty during the 2025 academic year, following a previous visit from 18 to 22 August 2025. These ongoing exchanges reflect the close ties and shared commitment to collaborative activities between the two institutions.
