Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Distinguished Occlusion and Orofacial Pain Experts from Leading US and Spanish Universities

On November 21, 2025, Prof. Dr. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, together with faculty members from the Department of Occlusion, welcomed Prof. Glenn Thomas Clark and Prof. Roseann Mulligan from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, University of Southern California, USA, and Prof. Antonio Romero from the University of Valencia, Spain, during their visit to the faculty.

The visit aimed to discuss academic and research collaboration in the fields of Occlusion and Orofacial Pain, and Geriatric Dentistry. Prof. Clark serves as Director of the Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Center and Associate Dean for Distance Education at USC, while Prof. Mulligan holds the position of Associate Dean of Dental Public Health and Community Outreach and is the founder of the Dr. Roseann Mulligan Special Patients Clinic, which provides dental care to special needs patients and the elderly. Prof. Romero is a former Associate Professor in the Department of Stomatology at the University of Valencia and an expert in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain.

This collaboration will strengthen the academic and research capabilities of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, in advancing education and patient care in Occlusion and Orofacial Pain, and Geriatric Dentistry to meet international standards.
