The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University extends its warm congratulations to Dr. Ansaya Pumchan, Postdoctoral Researcher of the Faculty, and her advisor, Dr. Kanokwan Sriwattanapong, on receiving the First Prize (1st Place) in the Poster Presentation Competition. The award was granted for the research entitled “Decoding Fluoride-Induced Molecular Adaptations in Enamel Fluorosis of Mid-Level Severity via Salivary Proteomics”, presented at International conference “The 18th Asia Conference on Transcription”, jointly organized by Chulabhorn Research Institute and Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, held during 14–17 December 2025 at the Chulabhorn Research Institute Convention Center.
This international conference served as a prominent platform bringing together researchers from around the world and covered a broad spectrum of scientific topics, with a particular focus on transcriptional regulatory networks in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Key themes included transcription machinery, gene regulation in disease, omics approaches to gene expression, cellular stress responses, post-transcriptional regulation, and antimicrobial resistance. Amid an intense competition featuring more than 30 poster presentations from both national and international institutions, the research from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University stood out and was awarded First Prize, reflecting the high quality, scientific rigor, and global research potential of the Faculty’s work, which continues to gain recognition on the international stage.
