FDCU Welcomed Exchange Students from Kyungpook National University (South Korea) for a Clinical Observation Visit and Study Tour of the Faculty’s Clinics and Departments
During 26–30 January 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed dental exchange students from Kyungpook National University (South Korea) for a visit and study tour across various departments and units of the Faculty.
On the first day of the program, the International Affairs Unit accompanied the exchange students to visit the Vach Vidyavaddhana Museum and the Human Body Museum, allowing them to learn about the Faculty’s background and history while enriching their academic experience.
On the following day, the exchange students met with Prof. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry. During the meeting, the Dean held a discussion with the group and presented souvenirs to all four students.
Throughout the exchange program, the students visited and observed various clinics and departments as follows:
- Operative Lab
- UG Pediatric Clinic
- Oral Diagnosis Clinic
- Radiology Clinic
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic
- Operating Room
- Endodontic Lab
In addition, the exchange students also joined the King Mobile Dental Unit at Baan Pakkret, Pakkret District, Nonthaburi, where they observed dental treatment sessions conducted by graduate students.
On the final day of the program, Assoc. Prof. Lt. Rangsima Sakoolnamarka presented certificates of participation to all four exchange students.
This activity reflects the role of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University as a hub for learning and international collaboration. It aims to foster the exchange of knowledge, patient-care experience, and clinical practices between the Faculty and Kyungpook National University, paving the way for sustainable educational cooperation in the future.
