FDCU Welcomed Exchange Students from The University of Sheffield for clinical observations and visits to various departments of the Faculty

The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed 3 exchange students from The University of Sheffield during 9–20 February 2026. The students visited and observed various departments and units across the Faculty.

On the first day of the program, the International Affairs Department accompanied the exchange students to visit the Vach Vidyavaddhana Museum and the Human Body Museum, allowing them to learn about the Faculty’s history and enhancing their academic experience.

Throughout the program, the exchange students a visited and observed various clinics and departments as follows:

  • PG Operative Clinic
  • Occlusion Clinic
  • UG Pediatric Clinic
  • Oral Diagnosis Clinic
  • Digital Dentistry Lab
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic
  • Operating Room
  • CUIE
  • PG Endodontic Clinic
  • PG Periodontology Clinic
  • Orthodontics Clinic

In addition, the exchange students visited Wat Pathum Wanaram School in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, together with the Community Dentistry Unit, to observe and participate in proactive dental services for schoolchildren conducted by undergraduate students.


On the day before the program ended, Prof. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, presented certificates of participation for the exchange program and souvenirs to all 3 students.


This activity reflects the role of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, as a center of learning and an international collaborative network. It is intended to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, clinical experience in patient care, and best clinical practices between the Faculty and The University of Sheffield, thereby laying a foundation for continued collaboration and sustainable educational partnerships in the future.
