Dr. Amporn Benjaponpitak, Director-General of the Department of Health, presided over the opening ceremony of World Oral Health Day 2026 together with Associate Professor Dr. Sirivimol Srisawasdi, President of the Dental Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. The event was held on 20 March 2026 at Eden Zone, 3rd Floor, CentralWorld, Bangkok. Representing the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, Dr. Tanit Arunratanothai, Assistant Dean for Communications and Organizational Engagement, attended the ceremony as an official witness.

In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Attawood Lertpimonchai, from the Department of Periodontology, was honored as a speaker at the event, contributing to public awareness of oral health.
