Chulalongkorn University Hosts International Academic Exchange Program with National Taiwan University’s School of Dentistry

On January 13, 2025, Professor Dr. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Chulalongkorn University, warmly welcomed exchange students from the School of Dentistry, National Taiwan University. The international students commenced a collaborative academic exchange program at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Dentistry, scheduled from January 13 to 17, 2025.

During the exchange program, students from NTU had the opportunity to observe various clinics within the Faculty, including the Undergraduate Prosthodontics Clinic, Undergraduate Operative Dentistry Clinic, Radiology Clinic, Endodontics Lab, Postgraduate Occlusion Clinic, Orthodontics Clinic, Undergraduate Oral Surgery Clinic, and Oral Diagnostic Clinic.

Additionally, they participated in the King’s Mobile Dental Unit at the Pakkred Disabled Children Center, where they observed and assisted in patient treatment.

The 6th-year dental students who went on an exchange program at NTU last year also took the exchange students from NTU out for lunch

Associate Professor Dr. Rangsima Sakoolnamarka, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Corporate Communication, and Social Activities, presented Certificates of Appreciation and gifts for the student on the final day as recognition of the exchange program.

The School of Dentistry at National Taiwan University has maintained a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Dentistry at Chulalongkorn University since 2011. This collaboration aims to foster mutual understanding between the institutions and promote academic advancement through exchange programs for students and faculty members.
