FDCU Welcomes 7 Exchange Students From Hiroshima University and University of Puthisastra for Clinical Observation Program
From March 17 to 21, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed exchange students from two universities: 3 fourth-year students from Hiroshima University and 4 sixth-year students from the University of Puthisastra, totaling 7 students. The visit was an opportunity for them to observe and study at the dental clinic of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University.
On the first day of the exchange program, students from both universities visited the faculty’s museums, including the Vach Vidyavaddhana Museum and the Museum of the Human Body. They were also given a tour of the faculty’s buildings and facilities, familiarizing themselves with the environment and resources available during their stay.
During the program, exchange students from Hiroshima University visited the following clinics and departments:
- Digital Dentistry Center
- Community Dentistry at Baan Rajavithi
- Occlusion Clinic
- Operating Room
- Orthodontics Clinic
- Operative Dentistry Clinic
- Oral Surgery Clinic
- Dental Pakkred Project
Meanwhile, exchange students from the University of Puthisastra visited the following clinics and departments:
- Digital Dentistry Center
- Radiology Clinic
- Occlusion Clinic
- Simodont Training Room
- Operative Dentistry Clinic
- Dental Pakkred Project
Additionally, on March 19, students from both universities participated in the King Mobile Dental Unit, where they observed postgraduate students treating patients in Baan Pakkred, Pakkred, Nonthaburi.
On the final day of the program, Professor Dr. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, met with the exchange students and presented them with certificates and gifts as a token of their participation.
The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, regularly welcomes exchange students from partner universities under Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs). This week’s exchange program marks the fifth since the beginning of 2025, reflecting the strong academic relationships between the faculty and its partner institutions, as well as Chulalongkorn University’s reputation as a globally recognized destination for high-quality exchange programs.
