Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Hosts Special Lecture on “Understanding the Pathophysiology of Sleep Bruxism for the Clinical Perspectives”

The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University organized a special lecture entitled “Understanding the Pathophysiology of Sleep Bruxism for the Clinical Perspectives” on May 20, 2026, at the Faculty Board Meeting Room, 18th Floor, Boromanathsrinagarindra Building. The lecture was delivered by Professor Takafumi Kato, Associate Dean of University of Osaka, Japan.

The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Prof. Thantrira Porntaveetus, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, who warmly welcomed all participants attending the lecture.

The lecture aimed to promote academic learning among faculty members, researchers, students, and interested participants. The session focused on understanding the pathophysiology of sleep bruxism, including its underlying mechanisms, its relationship with the nervous system and sleep, as well as the clinical implications and applications for improving patient diagnosis and treatment.

The event also provided an opportunity for academic exchange and discussion between the speaker and participants, helping to strengthen international academic collaboration and broaden perspectives on sleep bruxism research.
