FDCU Welcomed Exchange Students from Kaohsiung Medical University for clinical observations and visits to various departments of the Faculty
The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed 4 exchange students from Kaohsiung Medial University, Taiwan, during 10-14 August 2026. The students visited and undertook an observation program across various departments and units of the faculty.
On the first day of the program, the International Affairs Department accompanied the exchange students to visit the Vach Vidyavaddhana Museum and the Human Body Museum, allowing them to learn about the Faculty’s history and enhancing their academic experience.
Throughout the program, the exchange students a visited and observed various clinics and departments as follows:
- Endodontic Clinic (UG)
- Prosthodontics Clinic (UG)
- Pediatric Clinic (UG)
- Periodontology Clinic (PG)
- Oral Medicine Clinic
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic
In addition, the exchange students joined the King’s Mobile Dental Unit on a visit to Baan Pakkret in Nonthaburi Province, where they participated in providing proactive dental services to people in the local community.
On the final day of the program, Assoc. Prof. Lt. Rangsima Sakoolnamarka, Associate Dean for International Affairs Corporate Communication and Social Activities, presented certificates of participation and souvenirs to all 4 students.
The activity provided another valuable opportunity to strengthen academic ties between the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, and Kaohsiung Medical University through the exchange of knowledge, experiences in patient care, and clinical practices. This engagement is expected to further enhance educational collaboration and foster stronger and more sustained cooperation between the two institutions in the future.
