FDCU Welcomed Dr. Breno Reboucas and Exchange Students from Boston University for visit and clinical observations to various departments of the Faculty
The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed Dr. Breno Reboucas and 4 exchange students from Boston University, United States of America, during 24-28 August 2026. The students visited and undertook an observation program across various departments and units of the faculty.
On the first day of the program, the International Affairs Department accompanied the exchange students to visit the Vach Vidyavaddhana Museum and the Human Body Museum, allowing them to learn about the Faculty’s history and enhancing their academic experience.
On the second day of the program, Prof. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, presented certificates of participation and souvenirs to all 4 students.
Throughout the program, the exchange students a visited and observed various clinics and departments as follows:
- CUIE
- Pediatric Clinic (UG)
- Orthodontics Clinic
- Radiology Clinic
- Operating Room
- Operative Clinic (UG)
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic
In addition, the exchange students joined the King’s Mobile Dental Unit on a visit to Baan Pakkret in Nonthaburi Province, where they participated in providing proactive dental services to people in the local community.
The activity marked another important step in strengthening the relationship and academic collaboration between the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, and Boston University. Through the exchange of knowledge, experiences in patient care, and clinical practices, the activity fostered greater mutual understanding between the two institutions and helped lay the groundwork for closer and more sustained collaboration in education and other areas in the future.
