Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Participates in IADR-SEA 2026 and Receives International Research Award

The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, extends its congratulations to its faculty members and graduate students on their participation in the 40th IADR-SEA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026, where they presented their research and received an award. The meeting was hosted by University of Puthisastra and held from 17–19 September 2026 at Shangri-La Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The meeting was organized under the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR), an international organization dedicated to advancing research and knowledge in dentistry, oral health, and craniofacial science to support the development of knowledge and improve oral health worldwide.

On this occasion, faculty members and graduate students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, presented research on a range of topics, including:

• Prof. Thantrira Porntaveetus
  Associate Dean for Research and Innovation
  Received the Materials, Regeneration and Innovation Research Category Award for the research paper entitled “Beyond RUNX2: Extracellular Matrix Collapse and Prostaglandin Dysregulation Drive Osteogenic Failure in Cleidocranial Dysplasia.”

• Dr. Kanokwan Sriwattanapong
  Director of Oral Biology Research Center (OBRC)
  Presented the research paper entitled “Integrating Proteomic Profiles Across Dental Fluorosis Seventies to Identify Homeostatic Disruption.”

• Mr. Toan Phan Van
  PhD student, OCRS International Graduate Program
  Presented the research paper entitled “Novel Salivary Gland-Oral Mucosa Multiorgan-on-chip Unveils an Organ Crosstalk Leading to Oral Mucositis Alleviation,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. João Ferreira.

• Mr. Rahman Wahyudi
  PhD student, Craniofacial and Oral Science
  Presented the research paper entitled “Iloprost Modulates Dental Pulp Inflammation via cAMP-PKA-NFκB and Macrophage M2 Polarization,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Chalida Limjeerajarus.

Participation in IADR-SEA 2026 provided an important opportunity to showcase research from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, on the international stage, while fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening academic collaboration and networks with researchers and academics from around the world in the fields of dentistry, oral health, and related sciences.
