Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Digital Dentistry and Artificial Intelligence Expert from Universiti Sains Malaysia

On September 28, 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed Dr. Johari Bin Abdullah @ Yap Guan Kheng, Head of the Digital Dentistry and Artificial Intelligence Research Cluster, School of Dental Sciences, Health Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia, on the occasion of his academic lecture entitled “Advancing Digital Dentistry through CBCT, 3D Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence,” delivered online.

During his visit, Dr. Johari joined a discussion on potential research collaboration in artificial intelligence, with Prof. Thanapoom Osathanon, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies, focusing on opportunities to strengthen future academic and research collaboration.

Dr. Johari also visited the Radiology Clinic, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, where he was warmly welcomed by Assist Prof. Phonkit Sinpitaksakul, head of the Department of Radiology and staffs.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences in dental radiology and emerging technologies.
