Faculty Members of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, Win the National Impact Research and Innovation “NRCT AWARD”

Professor Dr. Viritpon Srimaneepong, Department of Prosthodontics, and team received the National Impact Research and Innovation “NRCT AWARD” at the “NRCT Forum 2026” for their work entitled: “Surgical Precision Guidance Device for Facial Deformity Correction”

The award was presented on the occasion of the 67th Anniversary of the Establishment of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), aiming to honor researchers and innovators who have created research works and innovations that respond to national development goals. The ceremony took place on October 26, 2026, at the Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat Conference Room, NRCT Building 1, National Research Council of Thailand.

During the event, Professor Dr. Rungsun Rerknimitr, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, congratulate faculty members and researchers across 12 award-winning achievements.

The National Impact Research and Innovation NRCT AWARD, presented by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), aims to honor researchers and innovators who create research and innovations that directly support national development across various dimensions, or discover, research, and develop knowledge to invent innovations for timely resolution of critical national emergencies. These research works and innovations generate positive impacts on the economy, society, communities, environment, tourism, as well as art and culture, while raising public awareness. The awards were officially announced at the NRCT FORUM 2026: The 67th Anniversary of the Establishment of NRCT.
