The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, would like to recognise Mr. Nattan Wangthavorn and Mr. Dhas Sintavanuruk, sixth-year dental students, for representing the Faculty with their community project at the 37th Annual Scientific Conference of the South East Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE 2026), held on 1–3 November 2026 at the Faculty of Dentistry, Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan.
.
Their project, “Co-design Oral Health Curriculum for Visually Impaired Children Using Design Thinking,” was presented in both oral and poster sessions under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Issarapong Kaewkamnerdpong. The project applies design thinking to build an oral health curriculum for children with visual impairment.
.
Bringing a community project to an international stage, alongside dental schools from across the region, takes real commitment, especially in the final year of study. The Faculty thanks both students for their time and dedication. Their work shows how dental knowledge is most valuable when it is shaped around the people it is meant to serve.
