The Faculty of Dentistry has developed and improved its graduate education programs by focusing on the development of multidisciplinary programs that integrate various dental specialties. The Graduate Diploma Program in Integrated Dental Sciences is a distinctive program where students can choose from 4 different sets of courses. Students will engage in lectures, practical training in laboratories, as well as observations or practical training in selected clinics. Moreover, during the program, students will receive reskilling and upskilling in their chosen field. Upon completion of the program, students apply their knowledge and skills to patient care.

Program Background

The program is designed to allow students to choose their own courses based on their interests, fostering a continuous desire for learning and self-improvement in line with Chulalongkorn University’s lifelong learning strategy. It aims to produce graduates who, after obtaining their degrees, can better plan patient care overall, in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health’s plans.

Principles and Rationale

Currently, designing graduate-level curricula emphasizes the importance of meeting students’ needs, which is the basis for developing The Graduate Diploma Program in Integrated Dental Sciences. Students can independently select four sets of courses, allowing them to respond to their own personal development needs in terms of both knowledge and practical skills.
