The lecturer is an expert in Dental Public Health, with a particular focus on oral health promotion and dental caries prevention among children and various population groups. Her research interests encompass the use of fluoride in various forms—such as fluoride varnishes, Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF), and community-based fluoride programs—as well as caries risk assessment. Her notable work includes evaluating the effectiveness of SDF in managing caries among children and dependent older adults, and developing digital health communication tools to enhance public oral health literacy. She is also engaged in epidemiological research involving policy analysis, spatial analysis, and the validation of oral health assessment tools.
