Professor Dr. Thantrira Porntaveetus, DDS, Grad Dip, MSc, PhD (KCL, UK), is a leading researcher focusing on genomics, artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and digital health. Her pioneering work has led to the discovery of novel disease genes and significantly advanced diagnostic capabilities for patients with genetic disorders. She currently serves as Associate Dean for Research and Innovation and Head of the Center of Precision Medicine and Digital Health (formerly the Center of Excellence in Genomics and Precision Dentistry) at the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. In addition, she is the Research Director of the International Program in Implant and Esthetic Dentistry, Secretary of the International Program in Geriatric Dentistry, and oversees the Special Patient Care Unit. Beyond her university roles, she serves as Vice President of the Society of Human Genetics Thailand and holds key leadership roles in the Thai Rare Disease Network and the Genomics Thailand initiative. Clinically, her expertise is in pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics. She also serves as an editor and reviewer for several top-tier international journals.
