Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Hosts Special Lecture “The Science of Bioactive Glasses: Innovations in Modern Dental Care Part I”

The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University hosted the special lecture “The Science of Bioactive Glasses: Innovations in Modern Dental Care Part I” on 1 July 2026 at the Executive Committee Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Vach Vidyavaddhana Building. The lecture was delivered by Professor Robert Hill, an internationally renowned expert in dental biomaterials.

The event was warmly opened by Prof. Thantrira Porntaveetus, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, who welcomed participants before the lecture sessions on “Glass Ionomer Cements” and “pH Switchable Zinc Releasing Glasses.”

The lecture was part of the Two-Part Lecture Series, which aims to promote academic knowledge exchange and provide participants with the opportunity to learn from a leading international expert in the field.
