Chula Dentistry Faculty Member Honored as Guest Speaker at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, Sharing Innovations in Dental Implants and Digital Dentistry

Dr. Sunporn Namano, a lecturer in the Implant and Esthetic Dentistry Program, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, was honored to be invited by Universitas Sumatera Utara, Republic of Indonesia, as a guest speaker at the International Summer Course Program 2026: Adapting Natural Resources with Smart Technologies and Aesthetics to Enhance Oral Health and Well-Being, held on 7 September 2026.

On this occasion, Dr. Namano delivered a special lecture entitled “Zirconia Dental Implants and the Topographic Effect on Osseointegration,” presenting insights into zirconia dental implants and the influence of surface topography on bone integration.

She also delivered an expert lecture for the Periodontics Specialist Program on “All-on-X Prosthetic Designs and Digital Workflow.” The session focused on contemporary principles in All-on-X prosthetic design and the application of digital workflows in implant-supported restorative treatment.

This invitation reflects the expertise of the Faculty of Dentistry’s academic staff and contributes to strengthening international academic collaboration between Chulalongkorn University and Universitas Sumatera Utara.
