Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Attends ISIFDE 2026 to Exchange International Educational Innovations at Sichuan University, Chengdu, People’s Republic of China
The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, participated in the International Symposium on Innovation and Future of Dental Education 2026 (ISIFDE 2026), hosted by the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University, in Chengdu, China, on 23–24 September 2026.
Prof. Thanaphum Osathanon, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies, was invited as a keynote speaker and delivered a presentation entitled “The π (Pi) Factor: Redesigning Dental Education for Dual Expertise” on 23 September 2026. Dr. Methaphon Songvejkasem, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, participated as a speaker in the Young Faculty Teaching Presentation on 24 September 2026.
The second edition of ISIFDE, coinciding with the 130th anniversary of Sichuan University, focused on international collaboration in dental education, with discussions covering student mobility, credit recognition, cross-border accreditation, and innovative approaches to teaching.
The Faculty’s participation provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and perspectives in dental education while further strengthening international academic networks and collaboration.
