Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Professor Rícheal Ní Ríordáin, Oral Medicine Expert from Cork University Dental School, Ireland, to Discuss Academic Collaboration

The Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, together with its Department of Oral Medicine, welcomed Professor Rícheal Ní Ríordáin, Professor of Oral Medicine and Head of the Department of Dental Surgery at Cork University Dental School and Hospital, University College Cork, Ireland, on 29 October 2026.

Professor Ní Ríordáin was received by Prof. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University; Prof. Thantrira Porntaveetus, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation; and Assist. Prof. Paswach Wiriyakijja, together with colleagues from the Department of Oral Medicine.

The visit centred on an exchange of research and clinical experience with the Department, with both sides exploring areas for future collaboration. The day concluded with a dinner hosted by the Department.

The visit extends the Faculty’s international network into oral medicine and lays the groundwork for closer academic ties with University College Cork.
