To ensure satisfactory treatment outcomes, dentists performing dental implant surgery should possess a solid foundation in oral surgery. They should also be capable of advancing their skills to handle more complex cases.
The Faculty of Dentistry has introduced an advanced certificate program in Higher Graduate Diploma in Clinical Sciences , specializing in Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and abilities of dentists in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery at an intermediate level. . The program focuses on advanced surgical procedures, including dental implant surgery, covering a range of complexity levels. The program aims to produce oral surgeons who can meet the current societal demand for advanced surgical procedures in the field of oral surgery and dental implants.
