Dr. Tanit Arunratanothai, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, was invited as an international speaker at the BESTIES 2.0 International Symposium 2026: Bhakta Health, Sciences, and Technology, organized in a hybrid format by Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata (IIK Bhakti Wiyata), Indonesia, on October 3, 2026.
On this occasion, Dr. Tanit delivered a presentation entitled “The Making of a Dentist: Professionalism and Ethics” under the symposium theme “Digital Professionalism in Healthcare: Ethics, Responsibility, and Integrity in the Social Media Era.” His presentation explored the development of professionalism and ethics among dental students, professional identity formation, and the challenges of educating future healthcare professionals amid the evolving landscape of social media, digital technology, and artificial intelligence.
The symposium provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and perspectives in dental education with international academic networks, while further strengthening collaboration and the role of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, in the international health professions education community.
