My research focuses on cellular senescence and senotherapeutic approaches, including senolytics and senomorphics. My expertise includes skin cell biology, particularly melanocyte biology, and the development of 3D human skin equivalent models. My current research centers on the development of pigmented 3D skin models and disease-relevant skin models for investigating skin aging and chronic skin disorders. More recently, I have expanded my research into oral biology, with a particular focus on gingival and periodontal ligament cellular senescence and the development of 3D oral tissue models. I also have experience in formulation development and the evaluation of the biological activities of natural compounds. I welcome opportunities for research collaboration.
